I KNEW I W/AS GOING TO ENJOY THIS WEDDING AS SOON AS I MET SAM AND KATIE! WE HAD A REAL LAUGH ABOUT THE STRESSES OF PLANNING A WEDDING AND I KNEW I WOULD BE ABLE TO HELP THEM CONQUER THEIR FEAR OF BEING PHOTOGRAPHED, WITH MY RELAXED DOCUMENTARY APPROACH. Set within a 90 acre parkland golf course, the Windmill Village Hotel, IS AN ENCHANTING VENUE WITH PANORAMIC VIEWS OF THEIR BEAUTIFULLY KEPT GROUNDS.
I ARRIVED AT THE BRIDAL PREP ROOM AND IMMEDIATELY SET ABOUT MAKING EVERYONE FEEL RELAXED AND COMFORTABLE! WE CHATTED ABOUT OUR CATS, MUSIC AND NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCES WHEN TRAVELLING TO THE VENUE! KATIE WAS BLESSED WITH AN OUTSTANDING BRIDAL PARTY WHO RESCUED THE DAY WHEN THE CAKE MAKER WENT AWOL! GOOD WORK LADIES! THE WINDMILL VILLAGE HOTEL is a great setting for a busy wedding and the staff were a great help on the day.
this wasn't your average wedding – the speeches were next level! liv (maid of honour) dropped a bomb with a framed photo of one of katie’s old flames. dan (best Man) REGALED us all about sam’s tinder dates which involved him being paraded around the garden pretending to be a dog - we also heard about his parents sexy ‘saturday’ night SHENANIGANS!
As the sun began to set, i grabbed them both for 5 minutes and we head out to the grounds to capture some golden hour magic. to help them relax, we all had a little dance to loosen up and the photos are well worth the embarressment of revealing my dad dancing! it was then time to dance the night away to emo classics and some other questionable song choices!
